I am Chip klinck, a manufacturer's representative for both the Plastic Welding Industry and the Modular Homes Industry. I have been associated with the plastic welding industry since the early 60’s. At that time, we owned a plastic distribution company and a plastic welding and fabrication facility. We concentrated selling with the existing plastic welding shops in the New England area in those days. Since the late 70’s we have concentrated as manufacturers’ representatives in the industry. At this time, we are only involved in the selling of plastic welding equipment and plastic welding rod. We have strong associations with all the major equipment manufactures except Leister.
We still stock adapters that will adapt from your welder to some of the advanced tips made in Europe. As in the past if you or your facility has used a certain equipment manufacturer in your facility in most cases all new hires will be trained on the same equipment. In some cases, there is better equipment available. We are familiar with all the plastic welding equipment available. Most of the equipment sold by the discount companies will work but if you are in production mode most of it will fail rather quickly. We can advise you on the best equipment for your needs.
We also run plastic welding training in a facility in Massachusetts and in Florida or the customers facility utilizing the customers own welding equipment. Classes run between 3-4 days (put correct website here) . Our classes in MA and FL run a few times a year with a maximum of 8 students.

As time went on, we realized that potential customers were not on the same page as we were as far as the correct way to weld plastics or the right equipment to utilize.
In 1970 National Plastifab started its own fab shop and fabricated the correct way to weld plastics, utilizing stress relieved sheet stock and nitrogen gas for welding (incidentally we will be introducing the next generation of our new nitrogen saver in the near future).
